Mr. Mantell has been a student of best investment practices for many years. As an investor himself, as a member of the Finance Committee of various sizable charities, as a member of Tiger21 (a leading peer-to-peer learning network for high net worth investors), as an advisor to the Stuart Family Fund, as a member of the Investment Committee of the MUUS Family Office, as the former head of the Einbender Family Office and in overseeing investment policy for other select clients, Mr. Mantell is constantly evaluating investment opportunities of all types, both liquid and illiquid. Although macroeconomic factors are not the primary driver of our thinking in these areas, Mr. Mantell’s training in economics at the University of Chicago helps us take those considerations into account when evaluating asset concentration risks and tactical investment options for our advisees. Our intimate relationships with decision makers at many preeminent Private Banking and Family Office organizations enable us to introduce their capabilities when applicable, whether to customize investment vehicles or hedges, provide liquidity, or assume discretionary investment roles for those disinclined to actively manage their own holdings.
