Mr. Mantell has been active as a private equity investor since the 1970s. The NASD firm he founded at that time engaged in private equity placements for companies in diverse industries in more than a dozen states. Later, Mr. Mantell was the President of a private equity firm that acted as a merchant banker in diverse industries, from oil and gas, to communications, to healthcare, to name a few, primarily in the U.S. but offshore as well. In recent years, he has served on the Board of Advisors and routinely co-invested with various family funds that take significant positions in established businesses in select industry sectors.
